Ahmad Dahlan. Pada tahun 1918 K.H, Ahmad Dahlan mendirikan Al-Qismul Arqa yang kemudian diubah menjadi Pondok Muhammadiyah pada tahun 1921, lalu menjadi Kweekschool Moehammadiyah pada tahun 1923. Kemudian tahun 1924 siswa Kweekschool Islam dipisah antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Kweekschool Muhammadiyah untuk putra dan Kweekschool Istri untuk putri.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dalam salah satu kegiatan siswanya rutin diadakan di sekolah ini adalah kegiatan Science Club yang mengetengahkan kegiatan pengenalan ilmu astronomi. Seperti tahu-tahun sebelumnya Griya Antariksa melalui club Jogja Astro Club (JAC) menjalin kerjasam dalam penyampaian materi tersebut pada Rabu, 31 Juli 2024. Ada sekitar 4 personil dikirim ke sekolah tersebut sejak pukul 20.00 WIB hingga 23.)) dengan membawa 3 unit teleskop untuk pengamatan setelah diisi dengan dongeng tentang astronomi. Namun sayang malam itu terkendala cuaca yang kurang menguntungkan karena langit mendung sehingga cukup diisi dengan pengenalan dan cara kerja teknis alat teleskop.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\"
